David started playing clarinet and piano in 1993 and bass clarinet in 97. He placed third and first in state solo competitions in 1999 and 2001. David has taught conducting and marching fundamentals at Cavalcade at BSU and the College of Hastings, Nebraska. He is also the drum major/conducter for the Boise State University marching band. David is currently a music education and Spanish major at Boise State University. At Rivendell, David is in charge of the piano lab and also teaches private instruction in clarinet and piano.
