Emily has been teaching piano for four years and has been teaching at Rivendell Music Academy for the past year. She was also a piano theory teacher at Rivendell for one year. She has taken piano lessons for twelve years and performed in many recitals and festivals receiving a scholarship to BSU's music summer camp. She plans to major in piano pedagogy and performance and has studied with Del Parkinson, professor of music at BSU.
Del Parkinson has said of Emily "I would give a very strong recommendation for Emily. She is a wonderful musician, a terrific teacher and an outstanding human being. Your children are fortunate to be able to study with her."
Emily is best with young students and has an energetic and caring teaching manner.
