Kristen is a very energetic BSU music education major. Besides playing the piano, and viola while young, Kristen has enjoyed singing her whole life. She sang in both church and school choirs, and then in the summer before college, took lessons from Dr. Wyers and continued with her for the next two years. In her junior year, she switched to Dr. Rushing-Raynes who she will continue with until graduation.
Kristen has taught theory and scales for David Tacher, and has taught some voice lessons while attending school. She also has experience conducting both a chamber choir and band.
Kristen is excited for the next opportunity to expand her teaching experience at Rivendell.
