Cello Instructors
Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Cello
Rita is an exceptionally qualified instructor and has been involved in music her whole life being taught in her earliest years in private music schools in Miskolc, Hungary. After graduating from Musikgymnasium Bela Bartok, she got her degree (equivalent to a bachelors and a year of a masters program) from Hochschule fur Music in Oberschutzen, Austria.
She then taught music theory, cello, and choir to young students in Oberschutzen, Austria. She also taught in the kindermusic program in Pinkafeld, Austria. Since coming to the United States, she has taught kindermusic and private cello lessons.
Rita has had many performance opportunities both in Austria and the United States. She performed in the Orchestra of Music Academy in Austria and participated in many festival orchestras. Since moving to Boise, she has played in the philharmonic orchestra and is currently a member of a professional string quartette, Quartetto Appasionato that performs for local parties and events.
